Marketing Apprentice
Full time, apprenticeship (up to 23 months)
Are you looking to develop your career in Marketing? We have an apprenticeship opportunity within our Customer Experience and Marketing department. This 23-month apprenticeship will not only give you a Level 3 qualification but also on the job experience and plenty of exposure to give you the skills and experience to take your career to the next level.
What you can expect to learn:
Understanding the important role Marketing plays in supporting the wider MSC business.
How to support the creation of marketing and project plans
Conducting primary and secondary research to analyse customer sentiment and inform marketing decisions
How to create and implement marketing activity across a range of media such as collateral, presentations, events, social media, webpages, digital advertising, PPC & email marketing
How to create effective sales materials and presentation documents
Working with a company’s brand guidelines to ensure consistency
How to store marketing materials and communicate internally to ensure materials are known about and understood
How to create content for email marketing, websites and social media
How to organise events, including venue organisation, guest lists, brand communication materials, travel and accommodation
Utilise customer data and feedback from MSC’s CRM systems
Assist with customer identification
Working with data and assisting with market intelligence and customer insight analysis
Contributing to the management of marketing spend to budget
Using available data to monitor, optimise, analyse and evaluate marketing campaigns and channels and draw conclusions.
General support across the Customer Experience and Marketing team.

Skills and experience you'll bring to us
First and foremost, you will have a desire to pursue a career in marketing. We’d like you to bring an open mind and desire to learn. You’ll be a good communicator, well organised and have an ability to manage workloads and keep to tight deadlines.
Minimum requirements also include:
Good Microsoft Office 365 skills (Excel & Word)
Maths A-Level / GCSE A-C or 9-4 under new grading system - essential
English A-Level / GCSE A-C or 9-4 under new grading system - essential
What you can expect from the apprenticeship
The initial period of apprenticeship is for 18 months whilst completing the course, plus an additional 5 months spent on the completion of the End Point Assessments. You will spend 20% of your time doing off the job training which can include practical training such as shadowing, mentoring, teaching of theory and external study support. You will also be able to shadow other areas within the Customer Experience and Marketing department which will give you an insight into different specialist areas.
